Kitemark Scheme for Locks Extended to Multipoint Systems

The series of PAS standards relating to multipoint locks, 3621, 8621 and 10621, has now been published.  These standards are designed to set a benchmark for thief resistant multipoint locks, in much the same way as the long established and well recognised BS 3621 standard has done for high specification single point locking systems.

ERA, through the Door and Hardware Federation, has been a significant contributor to the development and publication of these documents, and we welcome the opportunity to now have products third party certified and kitemarked.  This will enable consumers, the police, specifiers and security professionals to select or specify certified thief resistant locks, whether they be single or multipoint.

For details of the ERA range of certified single and multipoint locking systems, please ask your area sales manager, or contact us through our “Ask the Experts” page.
